Application Type

If you are in the US on a visa that allows you to study or you are in the process of gaining citizenship or permanent residency, choose "International Student" and email the training center, training@misdami.org, to discuss your application requirements.

Foundation Course Prerequisite

*FOUNDATION PREREQUISITE: In order to take the AMI Elementary Course, students must complete our 2 ½ week Foundation Prerequisite which gives an overview of the AMI approach for ages 3-6. Students who hold the AMI Primary Diploma are exempt from this prerequisite and should choose "Requesting Exemption (Admission Year 2021 - Elementary 3-Summers 21-23 )", then upload a copy of your AMI Primary diploma below.

If you are requesting to be exempt from the Foundation course, you must upload a copy of your AMI Primary diploma here.

Education and Work History

If you do not have a degree, please submit a letter to training@misdami.org explaining why you should be accepted without this requirement (speak about your skills, dedication, work ethic, etc.). This letter should be two to three paragraphs. Contact the training center if you have questions about the letter requirements.

Please list all of the degrees you have obtained.

Leave blank if you do not have any post-secondary degrees.

List ALL universities / colleges / training centers you have attended, even if you did not obtain a degree from the institution.

You will be required to provide official transcripts for any college or university listed here.

If you have a TOEFL or IELTS score, please list it here.

Leave blank if you are a US citizen or permanent resident.

Leave blank if you will submit your English language score at a later date.

International applicants who did not complete a college or university degree in a primarily English speaking country are required to provide an objective English assessment. IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge tests meet this requirement. Please contact the training center to inquire if a specific assessment is acceptable.

Official score report forms are required; contact the testing company to inquire about submitting official score report forms.

Admissions Requirements

The following items are required in addition to the online application:

- 3 recommendation letters*
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended**
- International students: English assessment (if applicable, see International Students for more information)

*Each recommendation letter must be submitted by the person who wrote it (email or post/mail).

**Transcripts must be official and submitted directly by the university by mail or email (or submitted by you in the original envelope sealed by the university).
